  • Spooky

Pulled up, it was pitch black and completely quiet. Walked up to the gate and not even 30 seconds after we’d arrived we heard a distorted laugh come from the woods. Needless to say, we left moments later. We weren’t expecting it to be so in-your-face as soon as we got there and it caught us off guard, we’re definitely going back soon

  • Red Eyes Following Us?

I first heard of this place many years ago from my sister. She talked about how she had seen red eyes coming out of the woods, shadows, strange lights, a ghost car, and so on. I recently got back into ghost hunting, so I decided to check it out with my bf and our friend. Soon after arriving I felt as if I was being watched. I could definitely tell there was spirits there. My friend and I saw a shadow brush against the skinnier tree. I shined my flashlight on it and then nothing. We decided to walk around a bit more, and I took a bunch of photos. The main pictures that had the most activity were taken on the pavilion. In all 3 of these photos you can see a shadow that has been following us with glowing eyes. I didn't feel any malicious energies here, but my sister claimed to have. However, I didnt stay as long as she did so I cant say for sure. Its definitely worth the visit, and I'll be going back again.

  • Ghost Car

I was a teenager and we use to go riding out in the country and get lost for hours. We took a tape recorder and place it on the side of the fence from the road and then picked it back up. We started driving and started playing the recording. It sounded like a campfire burning but while listening to it. We started getting followed by car that was turning on and off their lights and then brights and then off... we were on a road with no turn off roads and the car just disappears. Talk about being freaked out.

  • Shadows

I've grown up in new buffalo so this was a local legend to me. Eventually my friends and I grew the courage to visit it and had something strange happen. Overall there was a ominous feeling about the place. Standing under the pavilion I saw a shadow peeking out at us from behind a tree. I asked one friend and he said "yeah, I was waiting for someone else to mention it first" it kept going back behind the tree and popping out on random sides. We all simultaneously said "right, left, left, right" as he kept reappearing

  • Definitely strange vibes

I grew up very close to here so I have several stories. First, stories are that snow never sticks on the little pavilion thing where the church used to be even though we get lots of snow. Second, I was up there at night with my friends and I got an eerie feeling and then I kept tripping and feeling things grab at my legs.. Third, I went to visit the grave of a child I know buried there at sunset and a black cat came out of nowhere and started making the strangest sounds I've ever heard.. it's like it was trying to speak. I thought I was going crazy but my cousin was with me and confirmed it was happening.. we got back in the car and the car immediately and the cat dissapeared back into the brush..

  • WRONG!

The church did NOT burn down 150 years ago. It was burnt down in the 1970s by vandals. The church was not in use by then.
