A place for the haunt addicts! Two attractions and both equally scary. We had spectacular thrills in the hay ride true to Hollywood style. It was intense stunt show with blood curdling chills and a storyline it had followed got us engaged. We were mesmerized… lot of props and actors to do the scenes. The Slaughter House was interactive and equally intense. The actors may touch you and pull you up until you could take no more. We had a great time. Looking to come back.

  • never go to indiana fear farm or else you get freaked out

me and my mom and my siblings and my dad went october 21st and it was scary my siblings and i were screaming and crying when the (fake) zombies grabbed our legs and where they jump scare people all of my family loved the sliding part and i loved the foamy part where it was foggy and dark and we all were glad when we were done with that haunted house. . . . . .. . . . . . . we started too cry when we heard the chainsaw and the hayride was scary because i did not like the part that had the banging and i did not like the part where the micheal myers kept on chasing us and i freaked out over that one ... i loved the part where they were dancing

  • Won't be disappointed

I read some of these reviews prior to going and please believe that this is worth the drive. It was not only the best scare but I love how the actors walk around and entertain you while in line or just hanging by the fire. The hayride is perfect for families while the barn was a great scare which my older kids loved. Definitely going back!!

  • Bleh...

I went to it tonight with a few people. It is more of a family thing than anything. I can see potential with this, but there were huge holes in the execution of the event. First, actors could be seen much earlier than when it happens, so there is no shock value when they perform. Second, the actors were more rude and aggressive than actually scary, making it uncomfortable for all the wrong reasons, thirdly, there were way too many people, as where the performers could only entertain a few at a time. I was extremely bored, and where some actors were way too enthusiastic, as to laugh and pound hard on flimsy walls, I found the whole experience to be a waste of money. Not once was I scared, not once did I feel anything other than disgust for the overly priced payment to pay for middle school girls to try to scare me.

  • Great Family Attraction

I am neighbors to this great farm. Owners are a wonderful family. The hayride is a ride for all ages so not too scary. If you want scary go thru the barn. I would suggest taking the kiddoes to the friendly scare barn during the day.

  • indy fear farm

according to the website Indy fear farm is suppose to be a scary hayride. Let me assure you we went on this hayride on 10/11/2014 and this was basically an entertaining hayride not scary at all. This is monsters meet American idol. Very Kid friendly any child can go on this hayride and not be scared. Beetle Juice, Michael Jackson, Dancing Skeletons etc. If you want to be scared then avoid, but if you want somewhere to take younger children, then this is for you.

  • Always love it!

I've went two years in a row now, and it's by far the best around without driving too far. The barn is awesome! From the very beginning you are scared. You do have to crawl and slide once or twice which is a bit inconvenient. The hayride is the absolute best! It makes you laugh, cry, and scream. They love to use chainsaws, so if they scare you like they do me, be warned.

  • Pretty good.

This was our first time. This place is out on a farm in the middle of nowhere. So props there. The barn is pretty good, it was a double date for us. My husband and I (23 years and 24 years old) went with another couple friends (22 and 23 years I believe) They had a bonfire pit, had coupons for subway, haunted hayrid I think and the Haunted barn. People walked around a lot trying to scare/sneak up on you. But there could have been a few less scare people outside. The barn was huge. Somewhere in the barn you had to slide down something. The makeup was well done as were the costumes. It was pretty good for the money and the people were friendly in the refreshment stand/tent.
