St.Mary’s College – Le Mans Hall

The bell tower of Le Mans Hall was built in the late 1800s. The ghost of a girl exists here. Reports say an apparition of her hanging at the Le Mans Hall bell tower has been seen. Legends has it that a girl committed suicide in the very spot. The fourth floor has an infirmary that also has blood stains from a girl's death.

Another report says there was a family named McComb that once lived on the grounds that is now Lake Marian. They were doing construction and were digging in the lake when they found the remains of a woman's body with hair still attached to the skull. No one is sure the body was part of the McComb family but her body remains below the south end of the lake to this very day. Witnesses have reported seeing the reflection of a Victorian woman in the lake on foggy nights, only if you look closely enough.
