Rising Sun Halloween Parade

Rising Sun Main Street and the City of Rising Sun will team up for a "Spooktacular" night for children and adults of all ages. The parade will kick off with the spookiest parade around starting at the intersection of Main and Walnut Streets proceeding down Main Street to the pavilion. At the pavilion, there will be a costume contest with winners receiving certificates from Subway. Following the parade, Trick-or-treaters can travel the streets of Rising Sun.

Keep your eye out this year. The Ohio County Tourism will be hosting the kid-friendly Headless Horseman. Have your cameras ready they will be occasionally roaming the area between Walnut and High Street. If you miss them, the duo will be available for photo opportunities at the Ohio County Tourism office located on the corner of Walnut and Main Street. The Tourism Halloween House will be open for trick-or-treating.
