In Mid-October the ghosts and the spooks take over the village. A frightful night of ghost and ghouls as you wander around the village of Metamora. You'll start with a hay ride through the village and then be escorted throughout town. Beware, the hauntings can creep out from anywhere.

Ghost Train of Metamora:

In conjunction with the Haunted Village of Metamora, this event departs from Historic Metamora, a former canal town platted in 1838, and travels along the Whitewater River into the neighboring hills and woods. Along the way, passengers will encounter local lore about the railroad's tragic past and perhaps special visitors from both the mortal and immortal worlds will make an appearance.

This haunting lasts approximately 30 minutes along a historic stretch of the Whitewater Valley Railroad and Canal. Come with us as we travel back in time to when riding the rails was the preferred method of travel in America.
