This hall dates back to 1876 and is believed to be haunted by namesake Colonel William Cockrum's wife. Legend says she hanged herself in the tower and witnesses have reported seeing doors open and close by themselves in the middle of the night. A bright orange glow has also been seen shining through the windows.

Reviews

A strange feeling.

I worked late that night. As I walked alone. I didn't have anyone with me. I may still have a photo of the window somewhere. I walked the back of the hall home. Every time I passed through the yard, the trail behind the house. I could feel a tight sensation, within my throat. I felt as though my throat was closing. I didn't know. That this house was haunted at the time because I had lived there a few short months. I felt like someone wanted me to walk fast, and get away. I haven't told anyone about this in fear of being accused of being crazy. But it was on more then one occasion. I have experienced things. But nothing as strong as this.
