The county jail was open from 1870 to 1982 and the new Justice Building was completed that same year, taking over the housing of the inmates. The Old Jail subsequently became the home of the Kosciusko Historical Society and it now shares the county Genealogy Library. Visitors, volunteers and employees have all reported frequent occurrences of voices, unexplained footsteps, the sense of being touched, shadowy figures and apparitions.

Very active location...

I did an investigation here last fall thinking that I'd just run across residual energy, but I was wrong. The spirits at this location are very active and not afraid to interact with you.
