This cemetery is quite isolated and sits on a hilltop. It is known to have a glowing tombstone, which is believed to be the grave of a man who appears in a ghostly form at night. Some say he is guarding the cemeteries gate.

So this past Sunday I went with my sister and BFF. I have been several times and have experienced stuff every time. I am an empath and have always experienced things. Paranormal my whole life as well as my sister. So we were walking around and I was like let’s go in the woods and see how far we can go. Well my sister broke out the spirit box a guy came thru name Joey and stated all of us are here several. We kept walking definitely signs of witchcraft human made small ladders which if you don’t know is built for daemons to climb out of hell all a long the path. We kept walking and once the trail ended we climbed up a lil hill and kept following the path and I mean lots of these ladders were off to either side of this path very creepy when you know what they are used for and gotta look up too to make sure you aren’t walking through a man made arch which are constructed to go thru dimensions, so be careful. We kept walking listening then there is this huge tree we can across with claw marks going across I am 5.3 it was much much taller than I not done by a human or animal. Because if animal would climb it would be up and down because climbing not across it behind it was like a a burrow. I honestly thought maybe Bigfoot but with all the ladders and archways I believe demonic forces. That was Sunday. Monday my daughter kept waking up saying something was in her room moving the PlayStation around on their desk and my dog was freaking out shaking and very protective of me would not leave my side. Same shit happened Tuesday just last night only it last for 2 hrs I was so scared my dog was going to have a heart attack. I always take my ring off at night so it doesn’t scrape paint off the wall. I woke up today and it was bent to shit. I think something attached to me and I don’t need any more spirits or daemons or aliens to be attached to me. It’s like taunting me doing lil shit to tell me I am real and I am here. This cemetery is haunted and if think different then you just aren’t connected to the supernatural or paranormal world. Ever since I was born I have been connected to the unexplained this is only the beginning. Will be going back for sure this time at night

  • Creepy place...

Been there twice. Both times were last year(2019). I first went with a group friends late at night and it was really creepy. We didn’t see anything out of the ordinary but we all said we felt a weird vibe (if that makes any sense). Second time I went was with my dad during the day and a couple weird things happened. I found a foot path at the back of the cemetery that went into the woods and when I got near it I heard a sound like a growling dog. I backed off and headed for the truck, chalking it up to a stray dog or a coyote. When I got back to my dad’s truck I heard a sound from the woods that vividly sounded like the clicking of a horse’s hooves. Definitely something otherworldly going on there. I recommend it if you’re into spooky places.

  • Nothing unusual really.

I live like three houses down from the cemetery. Nothing has ever really happened anytime I went up there, save for obvious recent vandalism and a recent police report of cops arresting dealers up there. A majority of the graves are named Bridgewater and Kinderhook, probably two major families in the area as two of the roads are named after them.

I would say about two maybe 3 years ago I went to the cemetery with a group of friends and we had baby powered wit us so we covered with windshield with it and sat there for about 10 minutes and then we left and headed back towards town and saw baby foot prints on the windshield. it was kind of creepy but it was awesome at the same time.

  • Peaceful spirits

I too have seen the ghost of the headless horseman n his horse n I've seen some dark shadows moving past us n my brother in law has all kinds of ghost hunting equipment n we had an actual conversation with the horseman n a little child n a young woman. They were all very nice. A peaceful cemetery.

  • My Bridgewater Experience

It was about two maybe three years ago me and a big group of friends went to this cemetery for my birthday. We went back into the woods and seen the man on a horse, we heard the horse, we heard laughing from what sounded to be a younger boy, and deep/dark voices were heard yelling but we werent able to make put what he was saying. I 100% would recommend this to friends/family. I go back every year, sometimes more than once.
