This inn dates back to the 1830's and is known to have a playful spirit that likes to hide guests' things in strange places. One time, a guests' lipstick turned up in a shoe. Disembodied footsteps and cold spots have also been reported here, and psychic and ghost-hunting teams have determined that there are ghosts of a man in the basement and a young girl who wanders the inn.

We were staying there for our wedding weekend not knowing the suite was haunted, I saw my towel move like someone was picking it up while I was showering, and then on the last day (we kept the door key on my car keys) and the key was gone and missing when going to check out. My husband heard someone drop something in the middle of the night, but it was just us there
