State Theatre
Anderson, IN 46016
This theater opened back in 1930 and had eco friendly geo thermal heat and air systems way before its time, along with an acoustically engineered dome for the best sound for the first talkies. Visitors have reported feeling and seeing apparitions and hearing vague whispers in several different locations, including the balcony, stairs, and looking out the projection room while no one was inside. Photographs have also shown orbs. Reports say that this theater is no longer in operation.

I used to manage this Grand Lady back in the early 2000's. I spent a lot of days and a lot of nights within her. I had experienced absolutely no paranormal activity whatsoever. She always felt welcoming to me.
