Hacienda Restaurant - Real Mishawaka Haunted Place
- 706 Lincolnway West
- Mishawaka, IN
This private mansion turned restaurant is haunted by apparitions of people who lived there, including a maid and the mansion owner. Story has it that the two had an affair and the maid became pregnant. She ended up hanging herself in the attic and the mansion owner shot himself in the basement. People have reported ghostly occurrences like the lights, water, and appliances turning on and off on their own.
Saw legs under the stall door, when I first opened the men's room door. When the lights came on the legs were gone.Posted 1/23/20
Have been there twice now, once ate upstairs and now we’ve eaten downstairs. But so far no experiences yet. I will be going till I see or hear something. But supposedly some of the staff have good stories. A lot won’t be in the upper dining room by themselves.Posted 8/17/19
