This cemetery dates back to the 1800s and is believed to have the graves of seven beautiful witch sisters. There are many urban legends that surround the sisters, including one that says if you walk around their graves seven times by the light of the moon, it would awaken their ghosts. Witnesses have also reported orbs here that seem to follow them.

  • looking for the graves of the seven witch sisters

I have been researching names on the people that are listed as being buried at Cloverdale Cemetery, and have not came across 7 sisters that died each day of the week. I was wondering if someone could tell me where their graves are in the cemetery. Thank you Julie

  • It’s legit

I live in Cloverdale, and there’s really nothing to do there, so me and my friends decided to go up to the cemetery and go ghost hunting. So we walked in asked questions all the good stuff. It was really loud, not bc of ghosts but because literally all the dogs in the neighborhood were barking up a storm even the coyotes were howling. Anyways 5 maybe 10 minutes before we left I saw a little light towards the back of the cemetery, at first I thought it was those little solar lights that they sell at dollar tree but then I realized it was taller than the grave and it was moving! I tried getting my friends’ attention but they were looking at other graves. I stood there in shock mouth wide open and when I went to turn to holler for my friends it was gone. I thought I was hallucinating so I shrugged it off. Then my friends came near me and one of them said did you guys notice all the howling has stopped? And it had, which was extremely wired bc it was very sudden. I said we should go so I said a couple prayers out loud before we left and while we were walking out we heard what sounded like a woman scream help. Was it just a coyote, I don’t know but you can bet I’m going back as soon as I can.
